Itinerary
Zanzibar Trip
Day 1: Departure from Nairobi & Arrival in Zanzibar Early morning departure from Nairobi to Dar es Salaam by well air-conditioned bus. Arrive Dar es Salaam and transfer to the port. Board Azam Ferry to Zanzibar. Arrive Zanzibar, meet professional tour guide, and transfer to hotel in Nungwi area. Check-in (4 nights accommodation on PP sharing). Afternoon: Relax at the easily accessible beach at Nungwi or hotel swimming pool. Dinner (Half Board).
Nungwi & Kendwa Beach Day Breakfast at hotel.
Morning visit to Nungwi Beach (swimming, photos, local vibes). Afternoon: Transfer to Kendwa Beach for relaxation and sunset views. Optional: Water activities (at own cost). Evening: Return to hotel. Dinner.
Baraka Aquarium & Prison Island Tour Breakfast.
Morning: Baraka Aquarium – swim with sea turtles. Afternoon: Boat trip to Prison Island (giant tortoises, historical tour, snorkeling opportunity). Evening: Return to hotel. Dinner.
Stone Town & Forodhani Market Breakfast.
Full day guided tour of Stone Town (UNESCO site) – historic buildings, winding alleys, slave market site, and local culture. Evening: Visit Forodhani Food Market for street food experience (dinner at own cost or as arranged). Return to hotel.
Departure Day Breakfast.
Breakfast. Morning free for last beach time or pool relaxation. Check-out and transfer to Zanzibar port. Azam Ferry back to Dar es Salaam. Continue with bus transfer back to Nairobi.
